Guidelines & Policies

To help ensure the safety, cleanliness, and organization of every order, all laundry should be placed in standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags that can be securely tied closed.Bags should be intact and free from holes, tears, or mesh openings. Securely closed bags help protect your laundry, prevent items from being mixed with other customer orders during pickup, transportation, and processing, and support safe, sanitary handling procedures throughout the laundering process. We gladly accept reusable laundry bags. However, reusable bags should also be securely closed and free from large openings. Reusable bags that significantly exceed the capacity of a standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bag may be counted as more than one bag for pricing purposes. If a bag cannot be securely tied closed or significantly exceeds the intended capacity of a standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bag, additional charges may apply. Whenever possible, these charges will be reviewed and discussed with you before service begins. Our goal is always to communicate openly so there are no surprises.

Please take a few moments to check all pockets before pickup.Pens, markers, crayons, lip balm, cosmetics, gum, tissues, money, jewelry, and other personal items left inside pockets can damage clothing, stain fabrics, or affect other customer orders during laundering. While we make every effort to inspect clothing during sorting, customers are responsible for removing personal belongings before service. It's a Launderful Day is not responsible for damage caused by items left inside pockets or for personal belongings inadvertently left in garments.

We understand that pets are part of the family, and a little pet hair is completely normal. If possible, please remove excessive amounts of pet hair before pickup. Heavy pet hair may require additional preparation and may not be fully removable through standard laundering. Our goal is always to return your laundry looking its best while maintaining the cleanliness of our equipment and protecting other customer orders.
